The name’s Alexandra Xiuzhen Ramitan.

The philosophy of the name :

  • Alexandra, is the name of the Queen of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions and Empress of India from 1901 to 1910 as the consort of Edward VII. Etymologically, the name is a compound of the Greek verb ἀλέξειν (alexein) “to defend” and the noun ἀνδρός (andros), genitive of ἀνήρ (anēr) “man”. Thus it may be roughly translated as “protector of man”. The name was one of the titles (“epithets”) given to the Greek goddess Hera and as such is usually taken to mean “one who comes to save warriors”.
  • Xiuzhen, taken from Mandarin language, means bright and prosperous (please CMIIW)
  • Ramitan, my great grandfather’s name. He is the part of the patrician family in his birth city which at second-hand it means that I’m inherited by his nobility, hehe.
